KESIAPSIAGAAN SISWA DALAM MENGHADAPI GEMPA BUMI DI TINGKAT SLTP KECAMATAN TANANTOVEA KABUPATEN DONGGALA

Penelitian ini secara umum terkait dengan kesiapsiagaan siswa dalam menghadapi gempa bumi di tinggkat SLTP Kecamatan Tanantovea Kabupaten Donggala. Secara khusus, penelitian ini ingin mengetahui bagaimana tingkat kesiapsiagaan siswa terhadap bencana gempa bumi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode survei dengan populasi adalah siswa sekolah lanjut tingkat pertama dimana sekolah di seleksi berdasarkan pada beberapa kondisi, terpilih dua sekolah. Pengambilan responden dengan jumlah keseluruhan dari 2 sekolah SMP Negeri 2 Tanantovea dan SMP Negeri 4 Tanantovea yaitu 49 siswa. Data diambil dari kuesioner yang telah dimodifikasi oleh penulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aspek pengetahuan siswa SMP Negeri 2 Tanantovea berada pada persentase 14% kategori rendah, untuk SMP Negeri 4 Tanantovea berada pada presentase 14% masuk dalam kategori rendah juga, aspek rencana tanggap darurat siswa SMP Negeri 2 Tanantovea berada pada persentase 12% kategori rendah, untuk siswa SMP Negeri 4 Tanantovea berada pada presentase 15% kategori rendah, aspek peringatan dini siswa SMP Negeri 2 berada pada persentase 14% kategori rendah, untuk siswa SMP Negeri 4 berada pada presentase 13% kategori rendah, dan aspek mobilisasi sumber daya siswa SMP Negeri 2 berada pada persentase 15% kategori rendah, dan untuk siswa SMP Negeri 4 berada pada prsentase 16% kategori rendah. Jadi untuk keseluruhan hasil menyimpulkan bahwa kesiapsiagaan siswa dalam menghadapi bencana gempa bumi di tingkat SLTP Kec. Tanantovea Kab. Donggala masih berada dalam kategori rendah.

This research is generally related to students' preparedness in dealing with earthquakes at the junior high school level, Tanantovea Sub-District, Donggala District. In particular, this study aims at finding out how the level of students' preparedness for eathquake disasters. The level of student preparedness was measures using A questionnaire. Type of the research was qualitative descriptive study with a survey method with a population of junior high school student where schools were selected based on several conditions, two schools were selected. Taking the total number of respondents from 2 school of SMP Negeri 2 Tanantovea and SMP Negeri 4 Tanantovea, namely 49 students. Data taken from a questionnaire that has been modified by the researcher. The results show that the knowledge aspect of students' at SMP Negeri 2 Tanantovea is at a percentage of 14% in the low category, for SMP Negeri 4 Tanantovea at a percentage of 14% it is included in the low category as well, aspects of the emergency response plan for students' at SMP Negeri 2 Tanantovea is at a percentage of 12% at the category low, for students' of Tanantovea 4 Public Middle School at a percentage of 15% in the low category, early warning aspects for SMP Negeri 2 students' at a percentage of 14% in the low category, for students' of SMP Negeri 4 at a percentage of 13% in the low category, and aspects of students' resource mobilization SMP Negeri 2 is in the low category of 15%, and for students' of SMP Negeri 4 is in the low category of 16%. So that the overall results conclude that the preparedness of students' in deadling with earthquake disasters at the junior high school level in Tanantovea, Donggala District is still in the low category.
