physical properties of soil in rubber stands. The research was conducted in Polando Jaya Village, Central
Sulawesi, the aim of the research was to determine the physical properties of the soil under the
rubber stands. This research was carried out for 3 months, from July to September. Soil sampling at peaks
and valleys through field surveys. Sampling was carried out in plots measuring 20m x 20m in each area.
Laboratory analysis The parameters observed were soil texture, soil permeability, bulk density, soil
porosity and soil color. The analysis results show that soil permeability at the peak is 0.97 cm/hour in
the very slow category, while soil permeability in the valley is 2.24 cm/hour in the slow category. Bulk
density at the peak was 1.47 g/cm3 in the high category and in the valley 1.12 g/cm3 in the medium
category. Soil porosity in the valley is 49.85% while the value at the peak is 38.16%. Furthermore, the
color of the soil at the peak is reddish brown (re'dish brown) 2.5 YR 4/4 while in the valley it is red (red)
2.5 YR 5/6.
