KONTRIBUSI AREA KEHUTANAN NILAI EKONOMI AIR PADA LAHAN PERTANIAN DI SUB DAS KAWATUNA KOTA PALU

Kawatuna Sub Watershed is one example of a river that has helped the development of the rice
farming sector to the areas that are passed. the problem in this study is how much the Economic Value
of Water on Agricultural Land in the Kawatuna Sub Watershed.The purpose of the study as an
information material about the Economic Value of Water on Agricultural Land in the Kawatuna Sub
Watershed for agricultural needs in the Mantikulore sub-district of Palu City. The research method
carried out in this study is a survey method. This method is used to observe the actual condition of the
field through in-depth interview method. The results of the calculation of the total economic value of
agricultural land for the community of kawatuna village Rp. 283.535.437,5 where the actual cost
incurred by the community is only Rp. 47,25 of the total water economy. Most of it is a consumer
surplus or welfare value that can be obtained by the people of kawatuna village The economic value of
water on agricultural land in the sub-dash of kawatuna village is Rp. 283.535.437,5 the magnitude of
the value indicated that the economic value of water on agricultural land in the sub-dash is able to
provide welfare value (consumer surplus) to the community to meet the agricultural water needs of
agricultural water consumption (paddy fields) of the community, in addition to the cost of
procurement is influenced by age to the family, the number of family members, and the frequency of
harvest / year.
