Kualitas Briket Arang Dari Bahan Baku Limbah Tandan Kosong Dan Pelepah Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq)

One use of palm oil solid waste is to use it as a renewable energy source or as an alternative fuel such as charcoal briquettes. The aim of this research is to determine the quality of charcoal briquettes from empty fruit bunches and oil palm husks as an alternative fuel. This research was carried out from December 2023 to March 2024. This research used a completely randomized design (CRD) method with
5 treatments and was repeated 5 times. Where each treatment uses 200 grams of charcoal powder + 10
grams of tapioca flour adhesive (150 ml water). The results of the research were the average value of
testing the quality of charcoal briquettes from various treatments, namely water content 3.88% - 6.57%,
ash content 8.34% - 13.90%, volatile matter content 10.10% - 15.59%, bound carbon 65.22% - 75.24%,
density 0.40 ????/?????????
