KUALITAS SEMEN BEKU DOMBA PALU DALAM MEDIUM ANDROMED DAN SUSU SKIM YANG DITAMBAH EKSTRAK DAUN KELOR (Moringa Oleifera)

This study aims to determine the effect of adding moringa leaf extract (Moringa oleifera) in andromed medium and skim milk on the quality of frozen semen of Palu sheep. This research was conducted at the UPTD Laboratory of Livestock Breeding in Sidera Village, from November to December 2022. The cement used came from 1 adult male Palu sheep. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 7 replications. Treatment P0 100?sal solution (90% anromed + 10% skim milk), P1 99.5?sal solution + 0.5% Moringa leaf extract, P2 99?sal solution + 1% Moringa leaf extract, and P3 98.5 ?sal solution + 1.5 % moringa leaf extract. The variables observed were motility, viability, and abnormality. The results of this study showed that there was a very significant effect (P<0>0.05) on the abnormality of post-thawing hammer frozen semen. The results of this study concluded that the addition of 1.5% moringa leaf extract into andromed diluent medium and skim milk was most effective in maintaining the motility and viability of frozen semen of Palu sheep after Thawing.
