Focus in this study namely: (1) what is the meanings consist in lyric of Torompio traditional dancing song of Pamona Ethnic? (2) what are the values consist in lyric of Torompio traditional dancing song of Pamona Ethnic? This research aimed to describe the meanings and values in lyric of Torompio traditional dancing song of Pamona Ethnic. This research can shows lyric of Torompio traditional dancing song of Pamona Ethnic in write form by using data collection technique namely observation, interview, and documentation technique, as complement in this data analyzing technique using triangulation technique with hermeneuthic approach. Based on the results and data analyzing cocluded that lyric of Torompio traditional dancing song has different meaning in every line and the couplet, there are two meanings that exist in lyric of Torompio traditional dancing song namely explicit meaning is the real meaning wrote or language that stated called denotation and implied meaning that hidden behind the statement called conotation. The values that exist in lyric of Torompio traditional dancing song are aesthetic value and ethic value. Aesthetic value is value that related with art creations relevan with beautiful and non-beautiful, ethic value is value telling about human behavior from good and bad point of view as general.
