MENGAJAR PENGUASAAN KOSA KATA MELALUI MENONTON VIDEO PADA SISWA KELAS X SMA K BK PALU

The purpose of conducting this research is to find out whether the students' vocabulary can be increased by using videos or not. This research is an intact group research design. The population of this research is the tenth grade students of SMA K BK Palu. The researcher took the sample by using purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by using pre-test and post-test. The post-test is conducted to measure the competence and the achievement of the students after they got the treatment. The data obtained from the test were differentiated between the result of experimental group and control group. It is proved that the result of t-counted (28.27) is greater than t-table (1.68). It means that the research hypothesis is accepted. Hence, the using of videos can increase vocabulary of the X grade students at SMA K BK Palu.
