Menganalisis Perspsi Guru Terhadap Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Secara Virtual Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Di Kecamatan Dampelas

This skripsi entitled Analysis of Teachers’ Perceptions of English Teaching Virtually during the Covid-19 Pandemic at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Dampelas Sub District, Skripsi, English Education Study Program, Language and Art Education Department, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, under the supervision of Abdul Kamaruddin and Anjar Kusuma Dewi.

The purpose of this research is to explore the teachers’ perceptions of English teaching virtually during the covid-19 pandemic at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Dampelas of District. This research used a qualitative design with a case study approach. The subjects of this research were 5 English teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Dampelas of District. The research instrument used to collect the data was the interview. The analyzed data used were data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The interview results obtained showed that the English teacher's perception of online learning during the covid-19 pandemic was good but necessarily effective when implemented in schools because online learning was the only alternative that could be used. As long as online learning is implemented, teachers encounter several obstacles in the teaching and learning process, follows: as students who do not have smartphones, limited internet quota, and network difficulties. From these results, researchers can conclude that English teachers have negative perceptions regarding online learning activities.
