Abstract

ABSTRACT
Siti Nurwulan (A 121 15 144), This skripsi entitles “Improving Reading Comprehension Of Grade VII Students Through QAR (Question and Answer Relationship) Strategy at SMP Negeri 2 Sindue Donggala.’’ Under the Supervisior of Mawardin M.Said.
The Objetive of this research is to find out whether QAR strategy can improves Reading Comprehension of Grade VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Sindue Donggala. The researcher uses pre-experimental research design. The sample of the research was VII B that consists of 20 students. The tehnicque of data collection is test. The test was administered twice; pre-tes and post-test.The mean score of the pre-test is 52.15 and the post test is 61.16. The result of the data analysis shows that the t-counted value (3.32) is greater than the t-table value (1.729) by applying 0.05 level of significance and 19 degrees of freedom (df). In conclusion, through QAR (Question And Answer Relationship) strategy can improve students’reading comprehension.
