Metode Exponential Smoothing Event Based (eseb) Untuk Prediksi Jumlah Penjualan Ayam Broiler (studi Kasus Pemotongan Ayam Al Barkah Palu)

Broiler chickens is meat-producing chickens that are kept until the age of 6-7 weeks. Broiler is a term to refer to chicken strains cultivated with technology that have economic characteristics, with the characteristics of fast growth as a meat producer, efficient feed conversion, ready to be slaughtered at a relatively young age, and produce soft fiber quality meat. This research uses Exponential Smoothing Event Based (ESEB) method. The ESEB method is a forecasting method based on special events in a certain period based on single exponential smoothing forecasting. The purpose of this study was to predict the sale of broiler chickens at Al Barkah Palu slaughter based on a special event with the smallest constant value. The results obtained the smallest constant value, namely 0.4 with MAPE 16.82623449% and MSE 12633419.130 so that in forecasting special events the results obtained were 24718.4959 for Eid al-Fitr in May 2022 and 22548.5744 for Christmas in 2022 in December.
