ABSTRACT

FISH LANDING BASE IN PARIGI MOUTONG REGENCY

Parigi Moutong Regency is one of the autonomous regions that has abundant fishery resources, but it lacks attention from the government. The existence of this fish landing base is to facilitate the activities of fishermen when landing the ship, loading and unloading fish before being transported to be auctioned at the TPI (fish auction place) or selling at the fish market. The Fish Landing Base in Parigi Moutong Regency is currently experiencing a decline in quality, especially in several existing facilities which has an impact on fishermen.
The research was conducted through data collection methods, among others, by conducting surveys, observations and interviews. The data analysis was in the form of a description of the problem identification that had direct implications for the planning and design of the Moutong Parigi Fish Landing Base.
The results of the analysis are in the form of a Fish Landing Base design that has facilities that can support fishermen to carry out fish loading and unloading activities and fish buying and selling transactions. The shape of the Fish Landing Base building is designed with an approach to transforming the shape of a ship's sail that identifies or becomes a characteristic of the building applied to the building facade.
