PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PROGRAM PERHUTANAN SOSIAL DI DESA ONCONE RAYA KABUPATEN PARIGI MOUTONG PROVINSI SULAWESI TENGAH

The Social Forestry Program implemented by the government is implemented for the purpose of
increasing the income of the community around the forest. This program is included in the
community empowerment program with the aim of improving the community's economy. This
program relies on community participation, this study aims to examine community
participation. This research was carried out for 3 months from September to November 2022 in
Oncone Raya Village, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi Province in the Dampelas
Tinombo KPH work area. The results of this study indicate that the Matuju-tuju Forest Farmer
Group was successful in their program of activities, because they received assistance from the
government and also NGOs and were serious in running their group. As for the indicators,
namely such as group meetings, palm sugar production, maintenance, human resource capacity
building, women's involvement, activities in forest management and management of
information systems and group management. The level of participation in community groups is
very high in Social Forestry participation.
