PEMANFAATAN CITRA LANDSAT 8 PADA IDENTIFIKASI PERUBAHAN TUTUPAN LAHAN PADA KAWASAN HUTAN LINDUNG DI KECAMATAN DOLO SELATAN KABUPATEN SIGI

The condition that occurs in the Protected Forest area in Dolo Selatan sub- district, Sigi regency, has experienced forest degradation due to the community's dependence on land use to meet their needs . This study aims to determine changes in land cover that occur in protected forest areas in the sub-district Dolo south district Sigi from the year 2015 until the year 2019. In order to provide information that is clear based on the data regarding the changes that occur . It is to do with the comparing (Overlay), the second image of Landsat 8 with the recording of the year 2015 and the year 2019, with methods of classification supervised (supervised classification). The protected forest area in Dolo Selatan sub- district, Sigi regency, which is the research location has an area of 37,771.29 hectares .

Results interpretation of the image of Landsat 8 recording in 2015 and in 2019 obtained a change cover land is significant in the area of forest protected District of Dolo Southern District Sigi . During the period of the year 2015 and the year 2019, forests primer experienced a reduction in area of 638.64 hectares, forests secondary experience gain wide of 916.83 Ha, Bush suffered a reduction area of 12.15 hectares, agricultural land dry mix bush experience gain wide by 1487 , 34 Ha, open land has an area increase of 910.53 Ha.
