PEMANFAATAN TUMBUHAN OBAT OLEH MASYARAKAT SEKITAR KAWASAN HUTAN DI DESA LEBANU KECAMATAN MARAWOLA KABUPATEN SIGI

This research was conducted for two months from August to October 2022 in Lebanu Village, Marawola District, Sigi District, Central Sulawesi. The method used is a qualitative descriptive research method with survey observation techniques and field interviews. Interviews were conducted with the people of Lebanu Village who were selected as respondents. In this case, the people of Lebanu Village still use medicinal plants. In this case the people of Lebanu Village still use medicinal plants. Shaman (Sando) as a key informant who is considered to have more knowledge about the use of medicinal plants as well as a respondent. Determination of the amount using the Slovin formula and obtained a total of 29 Lebanu villagers as respondents. Based on the results of interviews with respondents, it was recorded that around 20 types of medicinal plants from 17 families were used to treat a disease. Utilization of plant parts used by the people of Lebanu Village consists of parts of leaves, stems, fruit, tubers, roots, sap, rhizomes and all parts of plants. The part of the plant that is used as an ingredient in traditional medicine is the leaf part of 12 species with a percentage of 60%. And how to use it, namely boiled, pounded, grated, soaked in hot water, squeezed, used immediately. The most common use of medicinal plants by the people of Lebanu Village is boiling with a percentage of 45%.
