PEMBERIAN PAKAN KOMERSIL DAN TEPUNG MAGGOT (Hermetia Illucens) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN SINTASAN BENIH IKAN MASKOKI ORANDA (Carassius Auratus)

The research aims to see the effect of feed maggot (Hermetia illucens)as an additional source of protein in feed for growth and survival oranda goldfish seed (Carassius auratus). The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method with 4 treatments and 5 replications, included: Treatment A control (100% pellet), Treatment B combination of pellet feed 25% + maggot flour 75%, Treatment C combination of pellet feed 50% + maggot flour 50%, Treatment D combination feed pellet 75% + maggot flour 25%. Feed is given 2 times a day, in the morning at 08.00 and in the afternoon at 16.00.Absolute weight growth data, daily growth rate and standard length analyzed by Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA). If there is a real effect from the treatment, then it is continued with the Least Significant Difference Test (BNT) to find out the difference between each treatment. Data were analyzed using Minitab 16 and Microsoft Excel 2010, while survival data and water quality data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that commercial feed and maggot flour had a significant effect on absolute weight growth of goldfish oranda fish fry and daily growth rate. Treatment with a combination of pellet feed 75% + 25% maggot flour resulted in absolute weight growth and the highest daily growth rate. The viability of oranda goldfish fry is around 74-98%, the range is still quite good.
