Penerapan Strategi Anyaman Dalam Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar Pemahaman Membaca Siswa Kelas 8 SMPN 1 Sojol

The objective of the research is to find out if Applying Webbing Strategy can improve students’ reading comprehension to grade Eight students of SMPN 1 Sojol or not. This research applied a quasi-experimental research design. The research sample was Eight D as the experimental group which consisted of 25 students, and Eight A as the controll group which consisted of 27 students. The instrument ised in collecting the data were pre-test and post-test. The treatment was given six time. The data were anaylized statistically to know the significant difference between the pre-test and post-test.. As the result of the study, there was an improve of the mean score of experimental group taught by applying webbing strategy compare to controll group taught without applying webbing strategy. In other word, applying webbing strategy can improve students reading comprehension of grade eight students of SMPN 1 Sojol.
