PENERAPAN TEKNIK BERPASANGAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA SISWA KELAS DELAPAN SMP NEGERI MODEL TERPADU MADANI

This research aims to find out the implementation of the Pair work Technique in teaching speaking. It is quasi-experimental research which was conducted at the grade eight students of SMP Negeri Model Terpadu Madani. The technique of collecting data by using pre-test and post-test by interviewing as the oral test. The data of this research analyzed through inferential statistic. The result of this research was evidenced by the significant increase in the mean score of the experimental class, which rose from struggles to deliver ideas clearly and in the post test they can deliver their ideas clearly and efficiently. In the control group's mean score have the improvement, but this rise was not statistically significant. The credibility of the study is further supported by the gathered t count and t-table data. The t-counted value of 11.83 exceeded the t-table value of 1.671. It can be concluded that applying pair work technique can improve the speaking skill of grade eight students of SMP Negeri Model Terpadu Madani or there is significant improvement in speaking skill by applying pair work technique.
