Pengaruh Berbagai Jenis Zat Pengatur Tumbuh Alami Terhadap Pertumbuhan Stek Jambu Air Varietas Citra ( Syzygium Aqueum)

This study aims to assess the effect of natural growth regulators on the growth of water apple cuttings. The research was conducted in the Green House of the Sidondo Agricultural Research and Technology Assessment Installation, Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. The research was conducted from December 2022 to January 2023 using a one-factor Randomized Group Design. The treatment tested was the type of natural growth regulator. This study tested four types of natural growth regulators, namely coconut water, shallot extract, bean sprout extract, and cutting nature, on the growth cuttings of citra variety of water apple. Each treatment was repeated six times, for a total of 24 experimental units and 72 shoot cuttings were used. Observation variables included percentage of growth, number of shoots, shoot length, number of leaves, root length, and number of roots. Data analysis showed significant effects, followed by the Honest Significant Difference test at the 5% level to compare means between treatments. The results showed that coconut water and the nature of the cuttings had similar effectiveness in improving the growth cuttings of citra variety of water apple with higher growth rates, shoots, and roots.
