Abstract

This study aims to understand, to test and to analyze the direct influence of individual characteristics, job characteristics, organizational characteristics on career development through leadership policies. A number population this study are employees at PT. Makassar Raya Motor in Central Sulawesi, with a total of 82 people. The data were collected by using questionnaires and analyzed by applying PLS-SEM. The results show that: 1) Individual characteristics have a significant effect on career development at PT. Makassar Raya Motor in Central Sulawesi. 2) job characteristics have a significant effect on career development at PT. Makassar Raya Motor in Central Sulawesi. 3) organizational characteristics have a significant effect on career development at PT. Makassar Raya Motor in Central Sulawesi. 4) individual characteristics have a significant influence on career development through leadership policies at PT. Makassar Raya Motor in Central Sulawesi. 5) job characteristics have a significant effect on career development through leadership policies at PT.
