Abstract

Lettuce is one type of vegetable plant whose leaves are consumed. Lettuce contains fiber, vitamins, fresh taste, and various substances that are beneficial to the body, making lettuce a commodity favored by the wider community. In addition, lettuce can also provide adequate profits for cultivators in lettuce-producing central areas. One way to meet the nutrient needs of cultivated lettuce is to use POC which can provide macro and micro nutrients. One of the organic fertilizers that can be used is cow urine bio. Bio Cow Urine contains the hormone auxin which affects cell development and callus formation and contains 1.20% N, 0.5% P, 1.50% K, 25.5 mg/l Ca and 0.706% C-organic. This research will be carried out in Langaleso Village, Dolo District, Sigi Regency. The research will be conducted from January 2021 to March 2021. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK). The treatment tested was POC concentration which consisted of 4 levels, namely No POC (P0), 10% POC concentration (P1), 20% POC concentration (P2), 30% POC concentration (P3), each treatment was repeated four times so that there were 16 experimental units. The data obtained from this study were analyzed using analysis of diversity. If the results of the analysis of diversity show a real or very real effect, it will be continued with the Least Significant Difference (BNT) test at 5% level to determine the difference in the average value between the treatments being tried. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the application of liquid organic fertilizer of cow urine with a concentration of 20% has been proven to significantly increase plant growth, which is indicated by increasing yield as seen by increasing the number of leaves and dry weight of the plant.
