PENGARUH MEDIA VIDEO ANIMASI SIAGA BENCANA GEMPA BUMI TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN KESIAPSIAGAAN SISWA DI SDN 2 TALISE SULAWESI TENGAH

Background: Media animation video as learning to provide earthquake preparedness guidance on preparedness knowledge. Preparedness is any kind of action to avoid risk of disaster which will happen, if a disaster occurs and if the disaster is still long to occur, then preparedness to avoid the risk is the best way. Purpose: To know the influence of earthquake preparedness animation video on student’s preparedness knowledge at SDN 2 Talise Central Sulawesi. Methods: The study design is quasi experiment with One Group Pre Test Post Test plan. Sampling technique is total sampling. Number of sample was 40 participants according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Research instrument using questionnaire and video.Analysis using alternative non-parametric test that is Wilcoxon. Result: Statistical test using Wilcoxon test obtained p value 0.000 (p < 0.05). The results of the test showed that there is meaningful distinction about disaster preparedness knowledge before and after the video is played. Conclusion: There is a significant increase in student’s preparedness knowledge at SDN 2 Talise Central Sulawesi after the video screening. Based on the results obtained, this video media can be one of the effective media in learning about disaster preparedness
