This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the recitation method on the physics learning outcomes of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Lembo Raya. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with The Non Equivalent Pretest-posttest Desing. The population of this study was all students of class Vlll SMP Negeri 4 Lembo Raya. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with the research sample being class Vlll B totaling 28 students as the experimental class and Vlll A as the control class. The physics learning outcome instrument is in the form of a multiple choice test that has been validated through validation.at the real level a=0.05.This means that the value of tcount is in the rejection region of Ho.So it can be councluded that there is an effect of the recitation method on the physics learning outcomes of eighth grade student of SMP Negeri 4 Lembo Raya.
