Abstract

The aim of the study is to determine the effect of the Tai Type of cooperative learning model towards SMA Negeri 6 Palu students’ physics study result on work and energy subject. To know experiment class and control class student’ first knowledge on work and energy subject by doing pre-test. After that, on the experiment class was given a treat using TAI type of cooperative learning model and the control class was using conventional model. After the learning was completed. The both class was given a final test again to test the result. Based on the both class’ result, the final test’s mean score on the experiment class was 18,93 with 2,68 of standard deviation and on the control class was 16,70 with 2,53 of standard deviation. From the data final test’s result analysis was obtained the ttable value of 1,67 while the tcount value is 3,65. On the real taraf ? = 0,05 and dk = (n1+ n2) – 2 = 35 + 35 – 2 = 68. It shows that the tcount value is outside the H0 reception area, thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This result, said that there is difference toward study result between the class that using TAI type of cooperative learning model and the class that using conventional model. Thus, can be concluded that the TAI type of cooperative learning model do have effect towards SMA Negeri 6 Palu students’ physics study result on work and energy subject.
