This research intends to determine and analyze the influence of motivation
and work discipline on the performance of employees at the Regional Human
Resources Development Personnel Agency for Morowali District. The sample was
all existing employees as many as 42 people. The data analysis method used
multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, the
regression equation obtained is as follows: Y = 13,563 + 0,196X? + -0,297X?. The
results of testing the first hypothesis show that motivation and work discipline
simultaneously have a significant influence on the performance of employees. Then,
the partial test shows that both motivation and work discipline variables have a
significant influence on the performance of employees. The coefficient of
determination shows the Adjusted R-Square value of 0.797 which indicates that
79.7% of the performance variables are influenced by motivation and work
discipline variables, while the remaining 20.3% is influenced by other variables not
examined in this research.
