The formulation of the problem in this study is how the effect of
fertilizer use on paddy field production and income of Dalaka village farmers
after using fertilizer. This research method is quantitative with a survey
approach. The sample in this study were rice farmers in Dalaka Village as
many as 11 respondents. Data collection techniques are observation,
questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis in this study was carried out
through the stages of data editing, data categorization, interpretation of data
meaning and formulation of conclusions and suggestions. The results of this
study indicate that the use of fertilizers on rice plants can increase the amount
of production per harvest. Farmers in Dalaka Village use urea fertilizer which
makes the leaves look fresher, greener and denser and increases the number of
seedlings, accelerates shoot growth and plant height, and NPK fertilizer can
help rice growth to develop optimally, obtain fertilizer from the nearest
fertilizer factory/ PT. Cipta Agro Nusantara in Dalaka Village. The results of
rice production obtained are 250 kg with income ranging from Rp.2,500,000 –
Rp. 7,000,000 each harvest. Farmers also have various types of side jobs such
as construction workers, cotton business, and fishermen who can increase their
income to meet family needs.
