Abstract

This study aims to determine the hematological value of female Kacang goats. This research was conducted in the experimental stables of CV. Prima BREED, Tondo Village, Mantikulore District, Palu City, Central Sulawesi Province which was carried out from September to December 2022. The livestock used in this study totaled 16 female Kacang goats aged 12-15 months with a weight range of 11.07 to 19.78 kg. This study used a test of variance (TEST F) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments that were tried were; P0 = Durian fruit skin powder without fermented ammonia treatment, P1 = Durian fruit skin flour + 1% urea + 2% brown sugar + 10% yakult, P2 = Durian fruit skin flour + 2.5% urea + 2% brown sugar + 10 % yakult, P3 = durian peel flour + 5% urea + 2% brown sugar + 10% yakult. The forage given was Panicum sarmentosum Roxb which was given ad libitum to livestock. The variables observed in this study were erythrocytes, leukocytes, hemoglobin, hematocrit. From the results of the study it was shown that the administration of durian rind processed by ammonium fermentation had a significant (P<0>0.05) on white blood cells
