PENGARUH PERCAKAPAN DIBANTU OLEH MEDIA GOOGLE MEET TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA SISWA KELAS SEPULUH SMA N 3 PALU

This study aims at finding out whether or not the implementatiob of dialogue assisted google meet media can increase speaking ability of the tenth grade students of SMA N 3 PALU. The research applied quasi experimental design. The sample were the students of X MIA 9 with 25 students as the experimental group and X MIA 5 with 27 students as the control group. They were selected through purposive sampling technique. To collect the data, tes which was devided into pretest and postest were uswd as the research instrument. The pretest means score for the experimental group and control group were 63.00and 68.00. The postest means score for the experimental group and control group were 87.00 and 82.00. The data were analyzed theoretically by applying t-test formula where the degree of freedom (df) is 50. The result of statistival analysis shows that t-counted value is 1.704 while t-table value is 1.299. The result of calculatipn indicates that t-counted value is higher than the t-table value. It implies that the hypothesis is accepted. It means, the tenth grade students of SMA N 3 Palu's speaking ability can be increase by using dialogue assisted Google meet media.
