This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of Machiavellian characteristics and personality types on dysfunctional behavior. This type of research was a survey. The research sample totaled 67 respondents who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through respondents' answers from the statements in questionnaires and then were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research show that simultaneously, Machiavellian characteristics and personality types have a significant influence on dysfunctional behavior. Machiavellian characteristics partially does not affect dysfunctional behavior. Personality type partially influences dysfunctional behavior.
