Pengendalian Biaya Dan Waktu Menggunakan Earned Value Concept (Studi Kasus: Reconstruction Of Islamic University Of Palu)

The success of a project in achieving its objectives cannot be separated from proper planning and
control. The effectiveness and efficiency of the project objectives is one indication of the success of the
project. In a building construction project, of course, it is necessary to control costs and time so that the
project can be controlled properly to achieve its effectiveness and efficiency objectives. In this study,
researchers conducted an analysis of costs and time using The Earned Value Method which can estimate
the total project cost to completion, the time needed to complete the remaining work and evaluate the
work performance on the project by taking a case study of The Project Reconstruction of Islamic
University of Palu which is a contract value IDR 93.315.000.000,00. To analyze the project, interview
data were used to obtain direct costs as well as weekly reports and the actual S Curve up to the 15th week.
With the results of the data analysis, it was obtained BCWS, BCWP, ACWP, SV, CV, SPI and CPI which
were then carried out calculations based on data until the fifteenth week of the project, genereted BEAT
value is IDR 93.766.778.388,00, SEAC is 43 weeks and work perfomance when week 7 to 11 week are
doing well and was profitable but when week 2 to 6, also week 12 to 15 of the work done, project is losing
money with the job going well.
