Penggunaan Catatan Kosakata Pribadi Untuk Meningkatkan Penguasaan Kosakata Siswa SMP Negeri 3 Totikum Banggai Kepulauan

Sahmawati (A12118169). “The Use of Personal Vocabulary Notes to Improve Students’ Vocabulary Mastery of SMP Negeri 3 Totikum Banggai Kepulauan”, Skripsi, English Education Study Program, Language and Art Department, Teaching Traning and Education Faculty, Tadulako University, under The Supervision of Ferry Ritta and Afrilia Anggreni.

The objective of this research is to find out if students’ vocabulary mastery is improved through personal vocabulary notes technique. This research was Pre-experimental method. Data collection techniques were Pre-test and Post-test. The results of this research showed that there was improvement of students' vocabulary mastery from the pre-test and post-test it is 31.1. The results of the research found that t-counted: 8.88 is higher than t-table 1.72. It indicates that personal vocabulary notes techniques improve students’ vocabulary mastery. It means that the teacher can implement personal vocabulary notes in teaching vocabulary mastery.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penguasaan kosa kata siswa meningkat atau tidak melalui teknik catatan kosa kata pribadi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan metode Pre-Experimental. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah Pre-test dan Post-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan penguasaan kosakata siswa dari selisih antara pre-test dan post-test adalah 31,1.kosakata bisa dilihat dari tinggi t-conted 88,8 dibandingkan t-tabel 1,729. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, peneliti berharap bahwa teknik catatan kosakata pribadi dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosa kata siswa SMP Negeri 3 Totikum.
