Abstract

ABSTRACT
Indriani potoe (2023),the role of traditional stakeholders in preserving marriage
customs in Bewa Village. Thesis for the Pancasila and Citizenship Education
study program,majoring in social science education,faculty of teacher training and
education,Tadulako University. Advistor. Hasdin.
The purpose of this study is to describe the role of traditional stakeholders
in preserving the marriage customs of the Bada tribe in Bewa Vilage. The unit of
analysis in this study were 7 people who were used as informants. The type of
research conducted was based on a qualitative descriptive method. The data
collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. Based on the
results of this study, it shows that the role of traditional stakeholders in preserving
tribal marriage customs in Bewa Vilage can be said to carry out their rights and
obligations such as carrying out traditional ceremornies can be carried out
properly. Traditional stakeholders are very important in preserving traditional
marriages so that they are not out of date, therefore customary stakeholders have
the will and motivation within themselves to preserve traditional marriages and
are fully supported by the Bewa Village community.
