PERBANDINGAN JUMLAH DAN UKURAN STOMATA PADA BEBERAPA KLON TANAMAN KAKAO SEHAT DAN SAKIT YANG TERSERANG PENYAKIT VSD (VASCULAR STREAK DIEBECK)

ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the comparison of the number and size of stomata in some cocoa plant clones that have been affected by VSD. this research is expected to be useful as information material in controlling VSD disease in cocoa plants by using several cocoa plant clones. sampling took place in the first week of June 2019 until completion. This study used three cocoa clone locations, GC7 Clone, RRC71 Clone, SCA89 Clone in Sidondo Village, Sigi Regency. Then Stomata Observation was carried out in the Plant Pest and Disease Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Tadulako University. Leaf sampling was done in each cocoa clone by collecting 3 leaves in each tree. The number of leaves in the collection is 36 leaves. Difference in Stomata Density in the observation plot and analyzed with one way Anova (one way Anova). The results of this study indicate that sick cocoa has a higher number, diameter and density of stomata compared to healthy cocoa.
