Abstract

This study aims to compare the use of bread and milled corn waste as an energy source in concentrate feed to the weight of the non-carcass components and the proportion of non-carcass components. This research was conducted on January 1, 2020 to April 23, 2020, at the CV Prima Breed, Tondo Village. The livestock used in this study, 12 female Kacang goats aged ± 10 months with a body weight range between 10.80 to 12.89 kg, were placed in individual cages with wooden floors made of 12 plots. Feed analysis used statistical t-test with 2 treatments and 6 replications. As for the treatment tested P1 = milled corn, P2 = bread flour. The variables observed in this study were the weight of the non-carcass components and the proportion of the internal non-carcass components. The results of this study showed that the weight of the non-carcass components (edible offal) in female female goats which was given milled corn was lower than bread flour, while the proportion of non-carcass components (edible offal) in female bean goats that were given milled corn was lower. compared to female bean goats that were given bread flour concentrate, but it gave a real difference.
