onion variety of hammer valley is one of central Sulawesi’s favorite commodities because it is a
raw material of the onion industry that has become the trademark of central Sulawesi and especially
the city of hammer. One effort is made in promoting the productivity of the varieties of red bawling
plants of the hammer valley, which calls for the practice of cultivating the peach blossom, so that we
can compare effective systems for use in the onion hedges. The use uf onions is ideal for serving with
chilli plants, in the F1 varietes of gods. This is because both plants have high economic costs. The
study specifically aims to examine the growth and yield of onions grown at a time different from the
chilli plant as a fence. The study is conducted in the leading village of Oloboju district, district sigi
biromaru, district central Sulawesi province. The study ran from September 2019 to November 2019.
the tools used were tractors, hoes, shovels, buckets, weights, gauges or ruler, cameras and writing
tools. The substance used in this study is the seed of the garlic variety of hammer valley, the chili
seeds of the F god, the organic fertilizer, and the use ofa silver black plastic mulch. The study USES
random group design (shelves) with waves based on Onions’seed size, Deuteronomy 1 very large seed
size, Deuteronomy 2 large seed zise, Deuteronomy 3 medium seed, Deuteronomy 4 small seed size,
and repeated 4 times with the following details: T1: planted together with while growing chili, T2 :
planted 7 days after growing chili, T3: planted 14 days after chili and T4: planted 21 days after
growing chili. Thus there are 4 levels of crop time treatment and each treatment repeated 4 times,
making a total of 16 sets of experiments. Research thus concluded that treatment of the different
varieties of onionsthat develop the hammer valley among the chili plants has no real influence on the
variable observations of plant weight, number of leaves, fresh root weight, whereas the variable
observations of bullion remains have a noticeable effect on the growth and results of the varieties of
hammer valley.
