PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN SELADA (Lactuca Sativa L.) PADA BERBAGAI KONSENTRASI PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR URIN SAPI

ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the effect of the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer in cow
urine on the growth and yield of lettuce. This study took place in Kalukubula Village,
Sigibiromaru District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province starting from November to
January 2021. The study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of 5 treatments
and 3 replications, so there were 15 experimental units, then each unit The experiment used
three plants or polybags, so there were 45 plants or polybags. The treatments used in this study
were control or without cow urine (P0), cow urine 25 ml/500 ml water (P1), cow urine 50
ml/500 ml water (P2), cow urine 75 ml/500 ml water (P3 ), cow urine 100 ml/500 ml water
(P4). The results showed that the application of various concentrations of liquid organic
fertilizer in cow urine had an effect on the growth and yield of lettuce. The concentration of
liquid organic fertilizer in cow urine 100ml/500ml water showed the highest yield on fresh
weight of lettuce crown, which was 30.44 grams.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi pupuk organik cair urin sapi
terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada. Penelitian ini bertempat di Desa Kalukubula,
Kecamatan Sigibiromaru, Kabupaten Sigi, Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah dimulai pada November
sampai Januari tahun 2021. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang
terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 15 unit percobaan, kemudian setiap
unit percobaan menggunakan tiga tanaman atau polibag, sehingga terdapat 45 tanaman atau
polibag. Perlakuan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kontrol atau tanpa urin sapi
(P0), urin sapi 25 ml/500 ml air (P1), urin sapi 50 ml/500 ml air (P2), urin sapi 75 ml/500 ml
air (P3), urin sapi 100 ml/500 ml air (P4). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian berbagai
konsentrasi pupuk organik cair urin sapi berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman
selada. Konsentrasi pupuk organik cair urin sapi 100ml/500ml air menunjukan hasil tertinggi
terhadap berat segar tajuk tanaman selada yaitu 30,44 gram.
