ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of various doses of cow manure on the growth and yield of
tomato plants. This research was conducted in Wara'a village, Lembo sub-district, North Morowali regency,
the research took place from December 2020-February 2021. This study used a single factor randomized
block design (RAK) with cow manure dose treatment with 6 levels, namely P0: No Fertilizer Cage, P1 :
12.5 g/Polybag or equivalent to 5 tons/Ha of Cow Manure, P2 : 25 g/Polybag or equivalent to 10 tons/Ha
of Cow Manure, P3 : 37.5 g/Polybag or equivalent to 15 tons/Ha of Cow Manure, P4 : 50 g/Polybag or
equivalent to 20 tons/Ha of Cow Manure and P5 : 62.5 g/Polybag or equivalent to 25 tons/Ha of Cow
Manure. Each treatment was repeated 3 times to obtain 18 experimental units. Each treatment was
represented by two (2) plants so that in total there were 36 plants. The results showed that the treatment P5
= 62.5 g/Polybag or equivalent to 25 tons/Ha gave the best effect on the growth and yield of tomato plants
on all observation parameters, namely plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, number of fruit formed per
plant and weight. fruit per plant.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai dosis pupuk kandang sapi terhadap
pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di desa Wara’a Kecamatan Lembo
Kabupaten Morowali Utara, penelitian berlangsung dari bulan Desember 2020-Februari 2021. Penelitian
ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) satu faktor dengan perlakuan dosis pupuk kandang
sapi dengan 6 taraf, yaitu P0 : Tanpa Pupuk Kandang, P1 : 12,5 g/Polibag atau setara dengan 5 ton/Ha
Pupuk Kandang Sapi, P2 : 25 g/Polibag atau setara dengan 10 ton/Ha Pupuk Kandang Sapi, P3 : 37,5
g/Polibag atau setara dengan 15 ton/Ha Pupuk Kandang Sapi, P4 : 50 g/Polibag atau setara dengan 20
ton/Ha Pupuk Kandang Sapi dan P5 : 62,5 g/Polibag atau setara dengan 25 ton/Ha Pupuk Kandang Sapi.
Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali sehingga diperoleh 18 unit percobaan. Setiap perlakuan
diwakili dua (2) tanaman sehingga secara keseluruhan terdapat 36 tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan
yaitu perlakuan P5 = 62,5 g/Polibag atau setara dengan 25 ton/Ha memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap
pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat pada semua parameter pengamatan yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah
daun, luas daun, jumlah buah terbentuk per tanaman dan berat buah per tanaman.
