PREFERENSI PAKAN PADA KURA-KURA AMBON (Cuora Amboinensis) YANG DIBERIKAN PAKAN KANGKUNG DENGAN TAMBAHAN PAKAN BERBEDA DALAM LINGKUNGAN DOMESTIKASI

ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the level of feed preference in Ambon turtles (Cuora amboinensis) which are given water spinach feed with different additional feed in a domesticated environment. The test organism used was the Ambon turtle (Cuora amboinensis), with different sex and age of catch from nature. The research design used was a complete randomized group design (RKLT) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications with experimental treatments, namely: A (Kangkung / 15 grams of chicken intestine), B (Kangkung / snail mas 15 grams), C (Kangkung / waste tilapia fish 15 grams) and D (water spinach / catfish pellets 15 grams). The results of the feed preference analysis using the Neu (Preference Index) method, the most preferred feed for Ambonese turtles (Cuora amboinensis) is a type of additional water spinach feed for chicken intestines and followed by additional water spinach feed from tilapia fish waste with an index value of W> 1, namely kale preference index. additional chicken intestines (1.16%) and followed by additional water spinach feed from tilapia fish waste (1.02%).
