Pusat Rehabilitasi Narkoba Di Kota Palu

The background of this study is due to the high number of drug abuse in Palu City during the last four years. In order to minimize this number, it is necessary to have a drug rehabilitation center as a place to heal drug users in medical and social (non medical) ways.
Data were collected through the process of observation, study of literatures, some comparative studies of the research object, and also through the field studies to obtain more information related to the existing conditions of the site which will be used as the location of the building.
The method of this study is based on the architectural design method using non-physical and physical data analysis techniques. The data analysis technique aims to examine aspects of functions and activities, users of the building, space, potential aspects of the site as well as the existing conditions of the site itself.
The result of this study is the design of a drug rehabilitation center in Palu City which provides the facilities of medical and social services. The image of the building is manifasted in a simple, dynamic, functional, and modern geometrical forms and responsive to the climate.
