This study aims to find out how the description of students' motivation in participating in futsal extracurricular activities at SMK Negeri 1 Tolitoli. This research uses descriptive research method with qualitative analysis. Data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews in order to obtain data that explains the focus of the problem. The participants used in this study were futsal extracurricular students at SMK Negeri 1 Tolitoli.
Results Based on the research and discussion, it can be concluded that from some students who participate in this futsal extracurricular which can be viewed from the background of participation, then from the perspective of futsal sports and the reflective meaning in students who take part in futsal sports. Students who pursue extracurricular futsal interpret futsal as a fun sport for them, but there are also conflicts that occur during practice because of different points of view. But as the training progresses with the conflict, the relationship between the futsal team is getting better, to make peace with each other because of the conflict in the field also requires good communication so that the relationship between the futsal team remains well established. Although the facilities and infrastructure, including the field for futsal practice, are still inadequate, it is a solution without having to field or build a field at the school.
