TUNDAAN SIMPANG TAK BERSINYAL (STUDI KASUS JlN.R.EMARTADINATA -
JLN.UNTAD 1)

ABSTRAK
Prasarana transportasi merupakan wadah pergerakan manusia sehari-hari merupakan faktor penentu
bagi perkembangan suatu wilayah.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana tundaan
yang terjadi di persimpangan Jln.RE Martadinata – Jln.Untad 1. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan
Januari 2023 dengan periode 1 jam yaitu 16.00-17.00 di sore hari dengan metode penelitian yang
dilakukan yaitu metode survey lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ada beberapa tundaan yang terjadi
pada simpang Jln. R.E Martadinata – Jln.Untad 1 diantaranya yaitu tundaan lalu lintas simpang 14,48,
tundaan lalu lintas jalan utama 10,18, tundaan lalu lintas jalan minor 39,44, tundaan geometric simpang 4,
tundaan simpang 18,48, dan peluang antrian (QP) = 39,19% - 77,50%. Pemasangan lampu lalu lintas
(Traffic Light) di simpang tersebut guna mengantisipasi kemacetan.

ABSTRACT
Transportation infrastructure is a container for daily human movement is a determining factor for
the development of a region. The purpose of this study is to determine how the delay that occurs at the
intersection Jln.RE Martadinata - Jln.Untad 1. The research was conducted in January 2023 with a
period of 1 hour, namely 16.00-17.00 in the afternoon with the research method used, namely the field
survey method. Based on the results of the study, there are several delays that occur at the Jln.R.E
Martadinata - Jln.Untad 1 intersection including intersection traffic delay 14.48, main road traffic delay
10.18, minor road traffic delay 39.44, intersection geometric delay 4, intersection delay 18.48, and
queuing opportunities (QP) = 39.19% - 77.50%. Installation of a traffic light at the intersection to
anticipate congestion.
