The tourism sector in the city of Palu is currently being kept trying to make improvements, development and expansion of a wide range of destinations and tourist attractions which beautiful and unique. It is also complete with means, facilities and services which continuously upgraded and improved. The absence of government planning to develop this place to be a beach tourism object. To accommodate the recreational activities, Resort is one of the preferred means of accommodation that is relaxing and can be a resting place. The data were collected through observation, survey, documentation, book literature and online media articles. The analysis was performed by analysis of maps and descriptive depiction of symptoms derived from the observation and surveys. Research shows that in the planning of this resort should be made more attractive, should pay attention to the factor of safety, comfort, environmental sustainability and local wisdom as well as the provision of more adequate facilities.
Result of this research showed the design Resort at Mamboro Beach area to be settled by paying attention to the condition existing footprint and environment around, exploiting of the potential and the provision of adequate facilities.
